FRONTEND ENGINEER
At C-point we’re building marketing softwares to better our customer businesses and their visitors interactions on their websites. Our team is distributed with members in UK, USA, Cameroon, Philippines & India, they have a diverse set of knowledge around software development & marketing. Our goal is to mix these backgrounds to form a trusted cooperation then deliver better and innovative Apps on the market while learning from each other and extending our skills.
For that vision to become true we’re looking for a killer or an experienced Cameroonian based Frontend Engineer who loves to build and learn different things while working in a fully dynamic environment. It’s a Full-time and remote position for Mid-Level or Senior.
FRONTEND?
We aren’t only looking for a skilled Frontend geek but an engineer who used to solve problems, who can build a great solution that satisfies customers’ needs, a self-motivated person who is able to learn fast and move on new things without (or with less) supervision.
Currently, we use MEAN, he/she should be great at programming with JavaScript and be able to design good UI with corresponding interactions using Angular 7 & Bootstrap (or another CSS framework).

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, design, and deploy interactive, dynamic UI/UX solutions
- Extending your own experience to shape our products
- Good communication skill and ability to work well in a team
- Work alongside backend engineers to optimize products experience
- Excellent understanding of front-end web technology stack: HTML, CSS, Js
- Experience in testing: unit, manual and performance
- Work with UX and visual designers to take creative concepts then making live pages
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
- Build reusable code for future use
- Know to use Git as version control system
- Documenting and structuring your work
- Good time-management skills
- Working with Ubuntu: know basic commands
- Autonomous, rigorous, a sense of detail
QUALIFICATIONS THAT CATCH OUR EYES
- At least 5 years of general experiences in software
- At least 3 years of front-end experience
- Significant backend background with a transition to a design-oriented role
- Significant full-stack experience with a transition to a design-oriented role
- Experience creating responsive layouts that respect the principles of compatibility, usability and accessibility
- Understanding (or an experience working with) Canvas
- A little experience working with NodeJs
- Little AWS ec2 experience is a plus
- Knowledge or working with REST API’s is a bonus
- Know to use Trello is a bonus too
- English is required and fluency in French is a plus
